Sunday 30th May: Summer officially arrived in Waterford on Saturday as Aer Arann’s Lorient route took to the skies for the first time this year.

Operating every Saturday, with the introduction of a Tuesday flight from June 22, the route offers holiday makers a convenient link with the stunning Brittany region of France, direct from Waterford Airport.

Passengers departing for Lorient on Saturday were treated to a celebratory reception prior to departure as the airline and airport marked the inaugural flight of 2010.
